A kind of biography, before the 11/06/2012....

I am a journalist and a photographer. Unless it’s the other way around. Being use to having a notebook and pen in my pocket all the time, I thought it might just be as simple to stick a camera in the other pocket. Photography is more than a hobby to me, it has grown into a passion. Besides, I cannot always have a professional photographer along with me to take pictures I need to illustrate my article, so this has led me to do both.
It has now become a question of being ready for the right place at the right moment. Others are reporters without frontier, some are nature lovers, or photographers obsessed by aesthetics. What I like is hunting for the instant moment, shooting it, and transferring it to my computer, as quickly as possible. Each time I go to a concert, this is the way I do things. I wait patiently for the moment when the music is starting to invent itself, when the unexpected occurs, when musicians surprise themselves, when the female singer stops playing the female singer to push her voice to its best, and when they all forget there are strangers nearby watching them. Never use the engine or the mode ” blast”. Either the moment for the good picture has come or not. If I thought differently, I might as well film the concert and catch a moment among others to get the picture I am waiting for. I prefer not to zoom to get the subject nearer or further. If the picture turns out to be impossible, I’d rather give up and take my chance some other time. Thank you for taking a look at this site. It’s far from perfect or finished. It’s work in progress. There is a special place for your remarks and criticism, and you can also recommend the site to a friend. If you dislike the site, tell your enemies about it ! In the meantime I shall continue to wait for the instant moment. Because, "once you’ve found the fish, the bowl is not far "...
